Buddo Parents Academy proudly held its End of Year Academy Festival on 9th November 2025 at the school premises on Buddo Hill, Kampala. The event celebrated learning, culture, innovation, and community spirit under the theme “Strive for a Sustainable Future.”
The festival attracted several distinguished guests, including Rtn. Robert Wagwa Nsibirwa and other notable dignitaries. The Guest of Honour, Hon. Nyombi Thembo, led the day’s main activities and received warm appreciation from the school community.
A key highlight of the event was the official commissioning of the new Computer Laboratory, carried out by Hon. Nyombi Thembo. In his remarks, he pledged to connect Buddo Parents Academy to high-speed fibre internet to support and strengthen digital learning across the school.
He also encouraged parents to safeguard their children from harmful online content, stressing the importance of responsible and protected internet use in both homes and schools.
The festival featured a vibrant lineup of cultural performances, music and dance, drama displays, and the unveiling of the Community ICT Centre—an important initiative designed to expand digital literacy and access for learners and the surrounding community.
Buddo Parents Academy expressed delight at the event’s success, describing it as a significant milestone in advancing the school’s commitment to preparing learners for a sustainable, technology-driven future.
